Today, there are numerous approaches to creating sustainable packagings – ranging from selecting and reducing material or using recyclate to leaving a carbon neutral footprint. With the complex range of options available, we are able to give you sound advice on how your product packagings can meet your sustainability objectives while still complying with your product’s technical or chemical requirements. Are you aiming at achieving an eco certificate? We consult you on “permissible” material and support you in compiling all documents necessary for the application. We even offer you to handle procurement, warehousing and shipment for you – as your one-stop shop.
We are climate neutral certified. Thus, being your service provider and supplier does not interrupt your climate neutral supply chain but even complements it.
Recycling Materials
Most plastics are recyclable and can be re-fed as granules into production during the manufacturing process. When using packaging made of glass, the percentage of PCR shards used also affects its sustainability level. We advise you regarding sustainable mono-material packaging and various recycling materials, e. g. RPET or RHDPE and their potential use as packaging for your product. And we check whether your product is in any case suitable for packaging made from recycled materials.
Climate Neutral Company
In autumn 2020 we have been certified climate neutral! All our CO2 emissions were calculated and then financially compensated. We chose to exclusively support climate protection programs guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2015, the UN agreed to adopt 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the mission statement to ensure decent living conditions worldwide and preserve natural resources.
The wind farm delivers renewable energy to the local power grid, which is otherwise mostly fed with power generated by burning coal. Generating clean and renewable wind power reduces air pollution and, according to ClimatePartner, has created 27 permanent jobs with wages and benefits above the local average.
“Money for plastic” is Plastic Bank’s approach to marine conservation. Lacking infrastructure, in particular developing countries often have large amounts of not properly disposed plastic waste. The Plastic Bank project steps up to avoid this waste being disposed of directly from entering the ocean.
